| The Company strategy is to assemble a portfolio of top exploration properties in some of Canada's most prospective mining camps. Mustang's current activities are centered in Manitoba and include efforts both to advance a significant open pit nickel,copper resource located 2hrs north/east of Winnipeg as well as exploring for additional nickel,copper and platinum group metals(PGM's) in this underdeveloped area known as the Bird River Greenstone Belt (BRGB). Manitoba: The Maskwa Nickel Property(BRGB): contains a 43-101 open pit and underground Nickel/Copper/Pgm resource of 6.5 million tonnes. Mineralization remains open to depth. The Mayville Property(BRGB): Located by road approximately 35 kms north of the Maskwa deposit it hosts additonal copper and nickel mineralization that may prove an added economic compliment to the defined Maskwa deposit. Ontario: Mustangs portfolio of exploration interests outside Manitoba are located in the Sudbury and Timmins areas of Northern Ontario and include: BANNOCKBURN NICKEL PROJECT: During the 1990's Outokumpu Mining discovered nickel mineralization near Timmins Ontario. Following an extensive geophsysical program, drilling inter-sected both Mt. Keith Style (bulk tonnage) and Kambalda Style (high grade massive sulphide) mineralization. EAST BULL LAKE AND RIVER VALLEY PROPERTIES: East Bull Lake and River Valley host disseminated platinum group metals mineralization and the potential for nickel at East Bull. Mustang has a j/v on the River Valley property with Impala Platinum Holdings Limited - the world's second largest primary producer of platinum group metals. |
